On the main ridge, the day will start off cloudy, whilst further south it will be very sunny to begin with. During the day, a few cumulus clouds will form, but the likelihood of showers will remain low.

The Alps will be affected by a high-pressure system bringing very warm air.
Conditions in the mountains will be stable and very sunny, with excellent visibility. Rising temperatures.

On Wednesday, the weather will remain sunny. Any patches of fog or low cloud will clear quickly, whilst the likelihood of isolated thunderstorms will increase in the afternoon. On Thursday, the weather will be very sunny and stable, with high temperatures. Friday will be sunny again with intense heat; heat-related thunderstorms are possible towards the evening. On Saturday, conditions will remain largely unchanged. The morning will be sunny, whilst heat-related thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.
