Summery conditions across most of the region, with plenty of sunshine, though clouds will continue to drift through from time to time. There will generally be more cloud cover along the main Alpine ridge. Isolated showers are expected to develop in the afternoon.

As the day progresses, cumulus clouds will develop, bringing some thunderstorms. Friday will also start off very sunny. Thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. Saturday will be sunny in the morning. A few thunderstorms will form during the hottest part of the day.
