In the afternoon, only the odd rain shower will pass through, with dry spells predominating. However, it will remain heavily overcast, with sunny spells being rare. Overnight, as the cold front moves through, the rain showers will become more frequent again and the snow line will drop to around 1.500 m.

The influence of a low-pressure system is causing unsettled conditions. A cold front will move across the Alps overnight.
It is mostly overcast with frequent showers, which become less frequent in the afternoon. During the day, snow falls only in the high mountains above 2.600–2.800 m. As the cold front passes through, the snow line will drop to 1.500 m overnight. Strong southerly winds will blow at higher altitudes; as the night progresses, strong northerly winds will pick up in many places and temperatures will fall significantly.

A temporary high-pressure system is bringing significantly drier air masses from the west into South Tyrol.
Until late morning, lingering snow showers are still expected, particularly in the Dolomites and along the main alpine crest east of the Brenner Pass. Elsewhere, it will be dry, and the sun will soon break through from the west. The strong north wind will weaken noticeably as the day progresses. It has cooled down significantly.

On Friday, some thicker patches of cloud will pass through, but there will also be sunny spells in between. Rain showers are possible towards the evening. Saturday will start off mostly cloudy, but it will clear up later on and the sun will shine, at least at times. Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers in the northern parts of the region. On Monday, there will be a pleasant mix of sun and clouds, and it will remain dry.
