This afternoon, the weather will remain partly changeable along the main ridge, whilst in the southern parts of the region it will be pleasant with a mix of sun and clouds. Very isolated brief showers cannot be ruled out. The north foehn will continue to blow. As the evening approaches, the clouds will clear everywhere.

Temperatures are rising, reaching midsummer highs of 28° in Sterzing and 33° in Bolzano.

Central Europe, and therefore the Alpine region as well, remains under the influence of a north-westerly upper-level flow.
In the morning, conditions are very good with partly clear skies. High clouds will soon appear above the summit level, whilst the few cumulus clouds in the afternoon will remain small and harmless.

There will be plenty of sunshine on Wednesday too, with some medium- and high-level clouds passing through. There will be more clouds along the main ridge, and a few drops of rain may fall towards the Ahrntal in the afternoon. Thursday will bring very sunny weather. Temperatures will rise a little further. Friday will also bring plenty of sunshine in the first half of the day, though a few thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. On Saturday morning, the sun will shine widely, after which a few thunderstorms will develop.
